Systemgroup Wins Business Intelligence Partner of the Year in 2008 Microsoft Partner Program IMPACT Awards

Canadian technology partners’ and their commitment and leadership in the channel community recognized at annual Microsoft Awards

Mississauga, ON – November 14, 2008 – Systemgroup announced today that it has been selected as the winner in the Business Intelligence Partner of the Year category at the 2008 Microsoft Partner Program IMPACT Awards. The sixth annual IMPACT awards recognize excellence across the large and diverse community of Microsoft’s Canadian technology partners. The winners were announced at a gala event in Toronto on November 13, 2008.

"Our annual IMPACT Awards celebrates top technology partners who have shown true passion through their tremendous service to customers and innovative solutions."

Systemgroup was chosen as the winner in Business Intelligence for the Ontario Healthcare Balance Scorecard Decision Support Solution created in collaboration with the Credit Valley Hospital. Using PerformancePoint 2007, the team created a single integrated executive dashboard to incorporate with a data warehouse of clinical & financial data based on Microsoft SQL Server 2005. The hospital can now track and monitor KPIs around more than 100 operational measurements within the hospital. The ability to access data on an ad hoc basis gives greater visibility to trending analytics and analysis. Conducting more proactive planning based on this steady influx of accurate data is crucial in delivering enhanced and cost effective patient care.
